Join the second edition of the Counter Threat Symposium, a joint initiative between the CBRN, Counter Explosive Ordnance (Counter-EO) and welcoming this year the Drone Platform and Counter Drone (DPAC) Special Interest Groups (SIGs) of ADS. This event brings together practitioners including: the humanitarian sector, end users, policy makers, suppliers and buyers from UK and overseas to discuss the latest developments and requirements across the counter-threat domains.
Event format:
This year’s conference will have a focus on core counter-threat themes with thought provoking keynotes, case studies, insights into the latest capability developments, capability requirements and opportunities, and many more counter-threat focussed briefings.
- Day one will focus on the Context and look at areas such as the threat, environmental intelligence, and experiences.
- Day two will focus on the Drivers, including policy and doctrine, and science and technology.
- Day three (morning only) will focus on Delivery including procurement.
The event is open to the membership of all 3 SIGs and non-members alike*. As well as receiving updates from across their sector, delegates have the opportunity to represent their company with a tabletop exhibition stand (subject to availability). There will be a sponsored networking event on the first evening and numerous breakout opportunities throughout the event designed to foster cross-department discussion.
