Martech specialises in the design, development and manufacture of electronic and electro-mechanical systems for demanding applications in defence and aerospace, often for leading defence primes and tier-1 suppliers.
Key expertise includes new product development, specialist test equipment, control and instrumentation as well as re-design and re-engineering for through-life and obsolescence management.
In the CBRN space, Martech, in conjunction with DSTL, designed and manufactures a Chemical Decontamination Unit (CDU) to decontaminate sensitive equipment such as the pilot’s helmet from chemical warfare agents. The CDU is currently in-service with the RAF and other Air Forces as part of the Eurofighter Typhoon Ground Equipment.
